Good afternoon, lizards. Totally off topic, but does anyone else think it’s a bit creepy that Google gives me a special doodle for my birthday? I really don’t need a birthday wish from a search engine…

Meanwhile, I’m 62 and we all know what that means-$10 lifetime national parks pass. Woohoo! Of course, Mr. Calochortus already has one and I can’t recall when I visited a national park without him, but it’s the principle of the thing. Presumably I’ll pick mine up sometime this summer when we’re at a location that sells them.
