hey find the reasonable idea among the Republican plans. Find me one:

1) reduce revenues so we’ll be forced to end Medicaid, to cut Medicare deeply, to cut social security deeply. Call “insuring that the government goes broke faster ‘fiscal conservatism’” Lie about what economics entails so that people will vote to jump off the cliff.

2) try to shut down the EPA, claiming that having clean air and water is too much regulation.

3) pass “personhood” bills that outlaw the pill not just abortion. Ie, screw up the sex lives of 98% of straight people of fertile age

4) do everything possible to erase American legal history. Have law schools that elide the First Amendment from it so that you can claim that the US is supposed to be a theocracy

5) try to take away the right to divorce, bringing us back to the old days where couples had to invent crimes to accuse their spouse of to get out of a marriage.

6) oppose health care provisions for the poor based on position papers that claim that unmarried black mother are the cause of both high infant mortality rates and of children who will grow up to be criminals - implying that infant mortality must be encouraged for the good of society

7) try to impose religion, creationism, anti-science crap and bigoted versions of history in schools - try to get rid of the department of education to make that possible

8) promote the idea that the federal authority is unconstitutional as a ploy to get rid of civil rights legislation.
