We have a good chunk of the country still in reality and another chunk that’s gone completely mad and thinks it’s okay to run over protesters and shit like that.

The fact that a significant part of the news establishment is perfectly content to provide ‘coverage’ like this does not help:

Moderator (M): Today’s topic is triangles, and how many sides they have.

Republican talking head (RTH): Four, or was it seven? I can’t remember what Trump had in his latest tweet.

Sane person (SP): You can’t be serious. It’s three. By definition.

M: We have an interesting disagreement today. Let’s see what the polls say (60% 3 sides, 40% other than 3 sides). What’s the panel’s take on this?

RTH: 3 sided triangles are a communist plot. Schools should be under local control to prevent this kind of centralized tyranny. (RTH starts foaming at the mouth and chewing the carpet. Jumbled GOP talking points can be heard in the ravings)

SP: Having three sides is the defining trait of a triangle. A four-sided triangle is logically impossible.

M: This was a good debate and both sides made their points well. What did the focus group think?
