The better half brought this point up, gov’t should be ran like a business. IOW, show a profit or at least a non negative balance. We have folks in congress, who are suddenly experts at everything, actually have no experience in anything.

That’s true, but the idea that all Congress critters are useless is being perpetuated by the Tea Party and that’s certainly not true. However, it’s driving them to elect candidates with zero experience and backward ideas.

Look at this douchebag who’s running for governor in Florida, Rick Scott. In his previous career, he bought up hospitals and started downsizing them for profit. He ended up resigning from his corporation after paying $1.7 billion in penalties which made it the largest healthcare fraud settlement in history and most of those hospitals were in Florida.
