It’s because clutter is trans-dimensional and sneaky. You can put everything away and as soon as your back is turned it pops through the Clutter Dimension and reappears on your counters, in your sink, etc.

I just added to my clutter with the coolest kitchen gadget ever invented. It’s a breakfast sandwich maker that makes a completed Egg McMuffin (or a whole bunch of other goodies - I got a cookbook too).
