Just think. Expectations for Trump are so low, all this slab of festering offal had to do was jump on a plane and visit troops somewhere, anywhere, and the press would have fallen all over themselves to point out that he has finally “pivoted” or has “turned a corner” or is “acting presidential”.
Just one fucking plane ride. They would have anointed him. Lathered him in salutations and sang praises of his worthiness.
