No; the vote itself was just held recently. They receive over 200 distinct nominees every year, as a rule, plus hundreds or thousands of duplicates, and there is a long period of winnowing and consideration given to all of them.

How long could it really have taken them to do their ‘considering’ of Obama’s peace-making accomplishments?
