Rubio is not pure WASP an Other. Portman is a given. He’s well-liked in his home state, which is swing-y. If that moron has a clue-bone in his body, he picks Portman.

Portman isn’t that well liked. His home state approval rating is 33% to 25% unfavorable.

I agree that he’s the most likely pick, but he’s just another rich guy who will be instantly hamstrung and unable to release more than two years worth of tax returns because of the corner Romney’s painted his entire campaign into.
