August: “Well, we’ve suddenly decided that the losses are unsustainable and we can’t continue to support Obamacare any more, and this has nothing to do with the DOJ rejecting our attempt at becoming a monopoly.”

Except for the letter that explicitly states that Aetna was intent on killing their participation in the exchanges even though the company was still making money on them - but wanted to make even more money through their merger with Humana.
