I don’t get this. This is a massive organization, that employs hundreds, runs events all over the world, manages complex partnerships and receives and distributes millions of dollars. You think you build such an entity with part time volunteers? It is no different than running a large corporation. 400K is not that much for the right talent to run a thing like this. Up until a few days ago SGK had built a marketing juggernaut that certainly on the balance did a lot of good, notwithstanding the 400K it paid its chief. You pay for that success. The fact that they messed it up is beyond me.
