Maybe there’ll be a resurgence with the new gaming systems coming out at the end of the year. Game developers will have better hardware to work with and maybe start pushing graphics again.

There are plenty of games that push graphics to be better, but they’re all for PC. And there are some things a console can’t do/provide that only a PC can. I couldn’t imagine playing an MMO on a console (even if they have them). I remember trying the original Diablo on a PS1 and controls just sucked. There are other games that have the same issue, they’re absolutely phenomenal on a good PC but on Console they are horrible.
