There is a bizarre and apparently widespread belief among fundies that twice as many girls as boys are born every year and that there are far more women than men in the world. I have never seen any documentation for this belief but I have heard it from a dozen or more fundamentalists over the years. Government statistics, of course, are dismissed out of hand as the usual cover-up.

That is amazing. About 51% of births in the United States are male. I’ve never heard of this fundie delusion before.
