I remember walking out of the theater at the end of JFK 22 years ago and thinking two things:
1) It was one of the more visually interesting films I had seen in terms of art direction and cinematography. He literally used the medium of film like a collage artist.
2) LBK and the military overthrew JFK in a secret coupe? Yeah, that’s some grade A batshit crazy right there.
I don’t think I’ve watched any of his film since, except for snippets of The Doors here and there on TV.
