Hey everyone…I’ve spent much of the last few hours trying to upgrade this HP Mini I have from Win 7 Starter to Ubuntu. I created a flash drive ISO, changed the boot sequence to USB, and nothing. Trying a download now to my hard drive where I’ll use daemon tools to read the ISO and try to run the OS install from there…maybe I can fuck this machine up enough to allow booting from USB.

Oh, and for whatever reason, Win 7 won’t read my USB drive. The box will with the splashOS that opens before hand, but it won’t let me download to the hard drive, only the USB…so I have to boot windows all the way up to get the damn thing to download 700mb to the hard drive after putting it on a stick. Fuckin’ windows. Fuckin’ Meg…yeah, I blame her.
