In terms of people per day, Pakistan holds that distinction, with the Bengali Genocide. 6,000-12,000 people per day for 260 days.

If you count the Holocaust’s death toll at 13.6 million (Jews+ Soviet POWS, among many, many others), and define it as running from the Kristallnacht to the liberation of the Last Death Camp (Theresienstadt on May 8, 1945), the death toll was 5,400 People per Day.

The Pakistani Government outdid the Nazis. Think about that. Why we didn’t turn on them then is beyond me. That will be a splotch on our history that will never leave.

I personally think we should be giving foreign aid to Bangladesh until further notice. As a sort of guilt payment for supporting the Genocide.

Whoa. Were we active in that genocide or guilty of benign neglect? I’m thinking Rwanda, here, where things just went ballistic. Ethnic cleansing death estimates range from 500,000 to 1,000,000. We watched.
