But it was a cheap meatless pizza; wide, thin, full of cheese and weak sauce. No policy specifics that contained how it would be paid for, a blatant appeal to his base with no real humanity or nuance or pathos in a single solitary phrase.

In other words, it ticked all the marks for the “Both Sides” media to dance around chanting “He’s presidential again!!!”
