Some financial bloggers — not the pro economists, who are more sanguine — say the next recession will be much worse than the 2008 crash. If the next one starts while Trump is still in office, he will probably do a Hoover and tank the economy even more, leaving it to the next administration to clean up the mess.

I definitely see Trump trying something stupid, like trying to default.
