I have a suspicion this is a plan to either nick a whole load more intelligence, to be used as a bargaining tool either with UAE or Russia, or possibly to be able to try to blackmail the next US government from prosecuting the Trump crime family as they’ll threaten to leak info that would get US spies killed.

Or they could just be going for a military coup.

Not blackmail. There’d be arrests.

But selling more stuff? Hm. I hope there’s some informal security audits going on….
