Like you, I am staying at Civ4. I didn’t like the design decisions for Civ5. And if I was interested in the Civ6 system, I would probably just go with the WarHammer/TotalWar system. And I may do that at some point.

Good luck with the Deity win! You could set up the cheats and play Deity and probably still get an interesting game.

Using any cheats would make it pointless. I’m stuck at Emperor for the last several years. The conditions for a win are pretty obvious now, and if they aren’t present I abandon a game at the end of an hour on the bike. It sounds like I would skip Civ5 too, they’ll probably be touting Civ10 by the time I luck through. It’s a good game if I make it to gunpowder tech.
