I’m pretty sure you are right. Iran is using them as catspaw to keep Israel at bay. This is part of their nuclear brinkmanship. They have Qods force operatives in every single country that borders them, and in some areas three countries past their borders. They are the single most active terror supporting nation in the world. Everything they do is with the intent of keeping their neighbors destabilized, and those operations stretch from Lebanon, to SA, to Bahrain, to Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Then there’s Lebanon, where they actually own the south.
