The Democrats ahve to make it clear that the GOP is out to turn back the clock on all the progress we have made in women’s, minority and LGBT rights over the past five decades.

And this guy wants to go back to the fucking Middle Ages.

No, the Democrats have to get non-voters and irregular voters who agree with them on most issues to vote in every election. The GOP tribe has dug in their heels and their minds and voting habits won’t be changed by anything. This guy is still ahead of Claire McCasKill because apparently most MO voters think the way Brad Pitt’s mom does. Akin and others of his ilk are telling the truth about the anti-choice movement which is that there is no circumstance under which a woman should be allowed and abortion. They want all abortions banned and for women to be slut shamed, criminalized and have to carry every pregnancy to term no matter what the circumstances. Those of us who are pro-choice have always known this, we just weren’t believed when we said so. This is who they are and this is what they believe.
