Stalin was talking about killing people. I was saying that economic equality is less important than having a functional economy. That’s hardly Stalinist.

Which is why Stalin did what he did. People forget that first and foremost that Communism is an economic system. Mass murder, in his mind, made it ‘functional’.

Your statement is saying much the same thing. That economy is more important than people. That once a person is no longer useful to the economy they no longer have any use at all.

As my favorite author notes, it’s very strange that the people most opposed to Marx work very hard to prove his analysis of capitalism is the correct one.
