They may not believe their own line of BS. They may just be trying to rake in some cash. Plus if you’re selling online you pretty much have to take plastic or use PayPal.

I don’t know how lucrative the survivalist business is, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it turned out that those who buy survivalist gear from sites like that are repeat/frequent purchasers.

I just found the whole credit card thing funny, like they’re verifying their faith at the system at the same time they’re knocking the system. I’d expect it to be “meet me by the abandoned warehouse at midnight. Bring three Troy ounces of gold with you…”
