I will be amazed if Monmouth breaks for Booker. I’m pretty sure the state overall will, but this is a county that went for Bush twice.

My only point is that this pattern shows up in every election, the early returns always favor the candidate that’s more popular with rural voters. When the urban returns start rolling in things start shifting rapidly in the other direction.
