Sort of but not really. It is a reasonable principled stance to take. But there is a bit of self interest involved that everybody should be concerned about. The same techniques are going to be used by the other side as well. Gloria Alred is eager for a criminal prosecution through some sketchy antiquated law but I somehow think she’d be outraged if that same law was used to prosecute her.
