I think you’re overstating how effective she may be against the secondary purpose of Trump’s attacks: To demoralize his foes into believe their cause lost in view of the huuugge advantages The Donald brings to bear. Hillary needs people around her to maintain hope, because Trump will try to wound that hope at the outset and claim the “frontrunner” mantle swiftly.

What huge advantages does Trump supposedly have? His huge ego is not enough.
