I know this is a thread highjack post. But after reading all the anger over Obama not approving Plan B for minors, as a parent, I would not be OK with my minor child having access to any drugs without my consent. The arguments that children would be scared to confide with their parents does not suffice. Should an equally scared child after contracting a VD be allowed to have access to antibiotics over the counter?

Why does my views seem to enrage folks?

Because that same child could get married in many states without her parents consent.
