The most spectacular show we ever shot was one year when it started raining just before the show was ready to start. We had already loaded the whole field with the first rounds, and we were NOT going to let all that money go to waste. We immediately lit our flares and started shooting like there was no tomorrow. We shot the entire field of mortars in about 30 seconds flat, and wouldn’t you know it, when we were done, the rain had stopped. We continued the show at a more leisurely pace, but that initial shot still reduced our show time to about 5 minutes. Still, at the end, the crowd gave us a standing ovation and said it was the most intense and awesome show we’d put on yet.
