No, they are right. David was from Israel and Goliath was a Philistine (later Palestinian)*. David womped Goliath in the head with a rock and the cut Goliath’s head off with Goliath’s sword.

*The historical Philistines or Palestinians were of European, most likely Greek origin. Modern Palestinians are of Egyptian Arab or Jordanian Arab origin.
