I dont pretend to know much about this university but I am assuming that their goal is to promote christian values.
If they feel that the democratic party is adopting platforms that are at odds with what wish to promote I suppose they have the right to restrict whatever they want to on their private property. I liken this to Charles having the right to restrict or ban folks who get unruly, hijack threads or are using these forums for ends other then which they are intended.
If its your playground you get to have say in the rules.
