What’s missing from the winners/losers is facts and reality.

Trump’s touting a strong economy, but the reality and facts suggest a different picture entirely. Trump’s trade war has done tremendous damage and is slowing the economy in ways that were entirely predictable. Vox’s writers ignore that and claim that the economy remains strong because of Trump. That inverts things - it’s puttering along despite Trump’s worst impulses and policies that do the opposite. The Trump tax scam didn’t grow anything but the debt. It has accelerated wealth inequality and yet Trump is given credit for an economy that is growing more slowly than under Obama.

The right wing echo chamber and misinformation network was a big winner, because that’s how Trump hopes to remain in power (and avoid indictment).
