I’m so freakin’ tired of hearing about money and welfare and big-screen TV’s.

To my way of thinking (really not compassionate, more Ayn Randian—rational self-interest and all that), we pay tons to foreign countries to keep them bombing us or their neighbors.

We can’t feed our own people for the same reason?

WTF?

Beyond the obvious stupidity of not feeding people—there are tactical reasons to do so.

Same goes for healthcare.
