I guess I’m lucky I live in a place where a Lowe’s and a Home Depot are the same distance from my house. However, since we’ve remodeled our house pretty much entirely, inside and out, I’m afraid that HD has got quite a lot of our money over the years as a matter of practicality. I knew they were run by wingnuts, but this crap is seriously over the top.

Home Depot is based in Atlanta, I think I’ll call them up today and let them know that this really isn’t cool with me. And, if I ever happen to end up having to go there and see some gun humping idiot, I’ll walk right back out and tell the manager why. I think at this point that’s the only thing we can do with these fools. Some people have no choice, there’s no other hardware/home improvement store around for miles and if they need something, that’s that. But you can call them and tell them this policy sucks, and that maybe you won’t be bringing the kids to their workshops or whatever. They need to hear from someone besides the gun fetishists.
