A good book I recently listened to is The Book Thief. It’s a shortish, young adult novel—written from the perspective of the German Children. The war was pretty awful for them too. It does great respect to the entire situation.

Have you seen The White Ribbon (set right before WW1)? Messed up movie…one of my favorites.
