re: #248 SanFranciscoZionist

Thing is, I really don’t give a damn. What’s the goal? To get D_F to vote for Obama? To get him to crumble and admit we’ve outargued him? To get him to leave?

The level of hostility I’m seeing toward him is just silly and disproportionate. I know he’s driving some people nuts, but like I said, I really don’t care.

I mean, Jesus, people, I’ll argue with Dark about this or that, but basically this boils down to:

“Someone on the Internet is a partisan Republican.”

I mostly agree. I certainly don’t imagine anyone here is going to get him to NOT vote for Romney. He is, of course, allowed to be a partisan Republican as well. My only wish is that he could figure out a way to support his side without openly embracing total and utter nonsense like the obviously manufactured “you didn’t build that” bullshit, or whatever men with zero credibility like Mark Steyn or Jonah Goldberg write for National Review.

Admittedly, it may well be that Romney is such a wretched candidate that there are not a lot of intellectually honest ways of supporting him.
