I find it really irritating when journalists fall for Chuck’s “I’m really a nice guy, it’s just an act” bullshit. The evil shit is no act. What’s an act is when he bamboozles gullible journalists into believing it’s an act.

It was no act when he hunted down my address and showed up outside my old apartment. That’s not acting, it’s stalking.

Like many sociopaths, Chuck knows how to act sane in front of people he thinks can benefit him.

Even if it is “performance art” (which is garbage), it takes a certain moral, uh, flexibility to act that way. Non-sociopaths can’t flip that kind of switch.
