Ok, but what did the few thousand Native Americans inhabiting lower-sea-level Florida do to “deal” with sea level rises?

They moved.

That’s the solution.

Now tell me how 40 million Americans moving is going to be the same, not to mention 10x that worldwide.

Unlike those living in poorer nations, these 40 million Americans can theoretically relocate to elsewhere within the US. So all those Northern retirees who migrated to Florida may return to their home states.
