This isn’t New Orleans, this is New York City we’re talking about. There will be some looting, but a great many of those who try that will be arrested, and those arrests will dampen the desire of others to steal. Let the thieves enjoy their stay on Riker’s Island. The NYPD knows how to keep order.

The NYPD don’t play. I don’t expect to see any videos of police officers walking around Walmart looting with every one else.
