I’m glad that Kerry is talking about crimes against humanity being perpetrated against the Syrian people by the Assad regime.

The question now becomes what can and should the US do to hold the regime responsible?

The UK isn’t going to do anything, and neither does it appear that NATO is going to jump in the fray. Russia continues with its blocking actions.

And Assad gets to run up the body count in the interim.

100,000 and counting.

2 million refugees. And counting.

I’m probably being naive here, but why can’t the UN arrest Assad and try him at the Hague?
