Because people are stupid.

I didn’t give a damn where Dubya and his family went on vacation. I cared about the fact that his policies sucked. Why anyone cares where the POTUS and their family goes on vacation makes no sense.

The only reason I gave a damn about Dubya’s time off was because it seemed like he spent 60-70% of every year in Crawford.
