Well, as you get older you’ll find that it can be very hard to keep your skill set current. That’s why I got out of the business. I tried teaching myself C, and it’s the first time I failed to learn a programming formalism. There was something about C my mind could not grasp.

I couldn’t stay current, and so I had to leave the field. Going insane just sped the process.

Also, I’m a heretic, and much of the computer programming field is made up of priests. They made it, uncomfortable, for me. Which sped up the onset of my illness.

Twenty years ago. I miss the business sometimes. I can’t go back now though.
