The nation as a whole isn’t bankrupt, so some that drastic isn’t needed. Detroit is at the end of its rope and such solutions are needed. Even then, the idea is things like “Sell the concept car, use the money to fix the streets. Cut corporate taxes to attract business and jobs.”
