Good lord. I have Trumpista FB friends (longtime IRL work colleagues I’ve known since long before) who are going back and forth right now about how Trump never tweeted anything about Kansas last night and it’s all a media hoax.

Is there any bottom to this?

My thought on this particular thing is this:
1. We should expect the president to know at least the major geography of the US.
2. We do all make mistakes, and sometimes learn something that lots of other people knew.
3. He corrected himself.
4. It would have been better if he had added an “I goofed” tweet, but that might have been lost in the storm.

In the grand scheme, I’m way more angry about children in cages and his upcoming attempts to gut Medicaid.
