In the last thread I posted that I was going to miss The Colbert Report and am a bit worried that Colbert will have to tone down a bit of the politics to play to a wider audience, which might not be all that good for him.

I just got to thinking, I wonder if he could do a 5 to 10 minute Colbert Report on Late Night to keep his old self going a bit?

It’s probably a good career move for him. He’s a funny guy but how much longer is the Colbert character going to be funny? Eventually audiences will get bored with it. This will allow him a much longer shelf life.
