Seriously, how could a Trump endorsement help Newt at this time if it doesn’t come with a huge cash donation? If anything, it’s gonna drag Newt into a lot of shit he probably doesn’t want to confront, such as questions about whether he support Trump’s birther beliefs, which he expressed to much derision last year.
