i’m having serious deja vu here. Wasn’t there already an armored bear in Golden Compass? Is this a series of some sort based on that source material?

They’re making a series based on (hopefully) all the books. That movie was really meh compared to the book because there’s more to explore than what they could fit into a movie. It’s similar to the Netflix show for A Series of Unfortunate Events vs the movie.
