Okay… here’s the next chapter…

The boyfriend? Joyfully… is making the Doctor appear to be a complete and total idiot. Seems to have weathered the “terminal/critical” infection “none worse for wear”.

Family has asked not to see that particular physician again.

I’m totally serious. He had a 104.5 fever, was delirious and needed oxygen. The doctor told the family he “can not live through an infection such as this one. I am sorry, there is nothing we can do.”

99 temperature today and is sitting up in bed eating.

Oh thank God.

I had a bout of horrible meningoencephalitis when I was in my early twenties in Germany. Was in a coma for two weeks with temperatures spiking above 105 degrees F. The doctors prescribed ice baths to try to keep my brains from boiling. And my parents were told to come over and say goodbye.
