The whole thing is moronic. If you actually had something and actually wanted it to hurt the President, you wouldn’t announce when you’re going to drop it and make a spectacle of it. You quietly leak it to a few media outlets and just watch it explode. You don’t give the other side time to prepare and you don’t give advance notice. Trump is just trying to get some cameras pointed at himself.
