The NBA is an even more vile scam on the dreams of young men. There are 52 or so spots on an NFL roster but only 13 on an NBA team.

And all it takes is one bad year to change your fortunes. A guy who was a year behind me in high school was a top prospect at Villanova. Had he left after his junior year, he would have been a top 10 pick likely but he stayed for his senior year and wasn’t even drafted and spent the past 8 years playing around Europe. And you know if he’s happy, good for him but I doubt it’s the life he thought he would have. I don’t know what he got his degree in but I’m glad he got it.
