You are assuming one body to a grave or that the rows would only go across and not up and down(a traditional practice even in Europe and the Americas according to the tour guide at the historic cemetary in Boston, who mentioned the bodies went about 9 deep, as I recall)or even that they will bury bodies and not ashes or use arable land. In an emergency people act differently and the way you are used to is not the only way to do things.
